#SuperSocoaround: spreading emotions, spreading a revolution
Go Sharing is excited to partner with the city of Eindhoven in promoting sustainable mobility. The Low Car Diet is a movement in which employees of multiple companies and institutions throughout the Netherlands challenge themselves to use other forms of transportation than their cars for a month. Around 150 employees from fourteen companies at Flight Forum also participate. Instead of their cars, employees use Go Sharing scooters, public transportation, bicycles, among other sustainable transportation. Participants can locate, unlock and take a scooter using the Go Sharing app. Depending on the rider’s subscription, they pay between 23 and 29 cents per minute of use.
The SuperSoco powered scooters have a range of 50 kilometers, giving riders max distance to complete their commute. Nationally, the participants of the Low Car Diet saved 63.1 tons of CO2 last year. The goal this year is to save 100 tons. The campaign has had many participants decided to permanently change to sustainable transportation.
